Suhu ini berkaitan langsung dengan gerakan partikel di dalam benda tersebut. Semakin cepat geraknya, semakin tinggi suhunya. Untuk mengukurnya, digunakan alat bernama termometer, yang tersedia dalam berbagai jenis seperti termometer raksa, alkohol, digital, hingga resistansi. Selain skala Celcius yang umum digunakan, ada juga skala Fahrenheit, Reamur, dan Kelvin yang dipakai di berbagai belahan dunia. Suhu-suhu ini bisa dikonversi satu sama lain menggunakan rumus tertentu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Kalor<\/strong> adalah energi panas yang berpindah karena adanya perbedaan suhu antara dua benda. Energi ini selalu mengalir dari benda yang lebih panas ke benda yang lebih dingin. Misalnya, saat memasak, panas dari api berpindah ke wajan, lalu ke makanan. Satuan internasional untuk kalor adalah <strong>joule (J)<\/strong>, tetapi satuan <strong>kalori (cal)<\/strong> juga masih sering digunakan. Hubungan antara keduanya adalah 1 cal = 4,18 J.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Kalor jenis<\/strong> adalah ukuran banyaknya <a href=\"https:\/\/wondermindedu.com\/en\/materi-ipa-kelas-7-zat-dan-perubahannya\/\">energi <\/a>panas yang dibutuhkan untuk menaikkan suhu 1 kilogram zat sebesar 1\u00b0C. Sementara itu, <strong>kalor laten<\/strong> menunjukkan energi yang diperlukan untuk mengubah wujud suatu zat, misalnya dari padat ke cair, tanpa menyebabkan perubahan suhu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Jenis Perpindahan Kalor:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Konduksi<\/strong> adalah proses perpindahan panas melalui benda padat tanpa memindahkan partikel-partikelnya. Misalnya, sendok logam yang ikut panas saat salah satu ujungnya dipanaskan.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Konveksi<\/strong> terjadi saat panas berpindah melalui aliran zat cair atau gas yang ikut bergerak. Contohnya saat air mendidih dan terjadi perputaran air dari bawah ke atas.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Radiasi<\/strong> adalah perpindahan energi panas tanpa melalui zat perantara, dalam bentuk gelombang.
